Take a walk with the magic in Tarot through story and writing. Do you want to deepen both your Tarot knowledge and creativity? Tarot is an amazing creative resource to tap into. This two-hour workshop gives you tools to read into Tarot and write your creative sparks. We’ll generate at least one piece of writing, discuss it, and have fun divining with Tarot. If you prefer to work with your favorite Oracle deck instead, bring it along as it's easily incorporated with this workshop. Writing, creating, and reading Tarot - these are all acts of deific self-care. In this workshop, we incorporate valuable tools that can both enhance your creativity and your divination practice.
Btw – you don’t need prior experience with Tarot. This workshop is for people who’ve read tarot and used oracle decks, or not. If you’ve never used a Tarot deck, then this is a fun way to start. You don’t need prior knowledge or experience. If you’re just curious about reading tarot, this is also for you. And even if you don’t think you’re a writer, you may discover just how good you are with words.
Things to bring along - pen, journal/notebook, tarot deck, or oracle deck, if you prefer. If you don't have a deck, there'll be sample decks available to try out. Also, participants are welcome to use a laptop. However, for some of the freewriting exercises, pen to paper is shown to enhance the experience.
